Natty Platy is a worker co-operative of people passionate about social justice. With many years experience in equality, diversity and social enterprise, Natty Platy has identified its role in achieving social justice and this is articulated in our mission.

Worker co-operatives
As a worker co-operative, Natty Platy is a business owned and democratically controlled by its employees. It is a company limited by guarantee with membership open to its workers on a one member one vote basis. In the tradition of co-operatives, members believe in the ethical values of honesty, openness, social responsibility, and caring for others.
Publishing
Our experience suggests there is an increasing number of books around social justice but these books tend to be academic rather than practitioner based. Natty Platy aims to capture the expertise within practitioners in fields impacting on social justice and we welcome approaches from anyone with an idea for book that contributes to our mission.
Social Enterprise
Social enterprises offer social, environmental and economic benefits for communities. At their most basic, they are businesses driven by a social mission. But it's not really that simple, which is why Natty Platy has published this book. It is our attempt to share years of practical experience, ours and other practitioners', with people with an interest in social enterprise.
Natty Platy has many years experience working with a wide range of social enterprise development activities. Natty Platy is also a Co-operative Development Body.
Equality and diversity
Based on an unwavering belief that there are strong moral, social and economic benefits in a focus on equality and diversity within organisations and in service design and delivery, Natty Platy works with organisations from the public sector and civil society to help them realise these benefits through training, information, consultancy and impact audit.
